With license plate recognition the barrier opens automatically when approaching it, which means that you don’t have to look for your phone and scan the QR code. The only thing you need to do is enter your license plate when booking online.
Everyone can use license plate recognition in CPH. The only thing you need to do is to make an online booking at cph.dk/parking-transport and then register your license plate at the checkout page - just before you finish the booking.
You can always change your license plate at My Booking. You can apply changes to your reservation up to 2 hours before your chosen arrival time.
When you save your changes, a new order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail.
if you do not have an online reservation, you can still drive to the barrier and get a ticket or insert your credit card when entering the parking area. You pay for your parking at the payment machines in the parking area, at the barrier or with a BroBizz.
No, unfortunately it is not possible to use license plate recognition in CPH if you have a personalised license plate. Instead, you can either enter our car parks with brobizz or the QR code that you receive when making an online booking.
BroBizz and license plate recognition in CPH cannot be combined. If you have an online booking for parking in CPH, and have entered your license plate, you will enter on your license plate even if you have a BroBizz.
If you have a BroBizz and do not have an online booking for parking in CPH, you will enter with your BroBizz.
Automatic License Plate Recognition is a camera based technology, able to read the license plate on your car.
Images taken in connection with automated Licens Plate Recognition when entering and exiting the car park, as well as We Park You Fly (Valet Parking), will be deleted no later than 30 days after end parking.
