Top 15 unserved destinations of 2023

2023 marked a significant post-pandemic traffic recovery for CPH, with nearly 9 out of 10 passengers returning compared to pre-pandemic figures. European and North American traffic has almost returned to pre-pandemic levels, while Asian traffic still lags. Although 2023 witnessed numerous new route openings for both long and short-haul destinations, there are still unserved routes with passenger opportunities from Copenhagen.

The lists below show the number of departing passengers from CPH to the 15 largest unserved long and short-haul destinations between November 2022 and October 2023*. Nuuk is expected to be served with a non-stop flight by the end of this year once its new runway and terminal are opened. Additionally, Valencia, Toulouse, Wroclaw, Ljubljana, and Ibiza have already been announced to be opened this year.
