Travel advice
We are currently experiencing longer waiting times in the airport. So please arrive in good time and be prepared for your trip.
Arrive in good time
- Arrive at the airport in good time - even if you’ve already checked in from home.
- We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours before departure, regardless of your destination.
Check in from home
- Check in online from home if your airline offers this option.
Follow your flight
- Find your departure on Departures (cph.dk) and get updates about your trip.
- You can also follow your flight via the CPH Airport app.
Check-in open time
- Find your departure here and see when your airline opens for check-in, if you have luggage that needs to be checked in or if you need to show travel documents.
Check entry requirements for your destination
- There may still be specific entry rules related to COVID-19 for some destinations.
- Check the entry requirements for your destination by filling out this form.
- Make sure you have the right documentation with you – and be ready to show it. This will make the check-in process quicker. If you need a COVID-19 test, you can find more information here.
- Get information and advice about COVID-19 here.
Take good care of your checked luggage
- Make sure to have clear name tag on your luggage, so it is easy to relocate, should it be lost during your travels.
- Check that the luggage tag and the small "bingo-tags" are correctly mounted. It makes it easier and faster to resend your luggage, should it not make it to the flight as planned.
Pack your hand luggage correctly
- This will make the security check quicker for you – and for the other travellers.
- Pack your toiletries in one plastic bag of max. one litre. Only one bag per traveller.
- Pack your laptop, iPad and other electronic equipment so you can quickly take them out of your carry-on and place them in a separate tray.
- See more tips for hand luggage here.
Remember to wear a face mask
- There is no requirement to wear a face mask at Copenhagen Airport, but it’s still a requirement for some airlines as well as at other airports.
- Check with your airline which rules apply.
