Our air quality programme

The use of fossil fuels in aircraft, vehicles and equipment affects air quality in and around the airport. As a neighbour and employer, we continuously monitor local air quality and, in close collaboration with our partners, implement a range of initiatives to reduce pollution from ground-based activities.

We also actively follow and support the latest research and development of new technologies – particularly initiatives aimed at reducing aircraft emissions, as this is closely linked to improved air quality. When aircraft emissions of CO₂ and particles are reduced, the air in and around the airport becomes cleaner.
