Notification of tall equipment

Height limitations are established around Copenhagen Airport as part of the overall protection of flight

Temporary use of tall equipment at the airport or in the neighborhood of the airport must be notified to CPH. Tall equipment can be cranes, hoists, concrete pumps, etc.

In addition, under the Danish Air Navigation Act and Regulation of Civil Aviation (BL) (only in Danish), general notification requirements comply for all temporary objects near airports with a height of 25 meters or more above the terrain.

More information about notification and use of tall equipment at the airport can be retrieved under Copenhagen Airport Local regulations item 2.7 and appendix 6 (only in Danish).

An easement is attached on every plot surrounding Copenhagen Airport describing the specific height limitations. It is the land owner responsibility to know and upheld the attached easement.

Use the notification form (only in Danish). Complete and forward the notification form to kraner@cph.dk.
