Latest news about CPH Advantage membership

We are changing the terms and conditions of CPH Advantage membership, effective Monday 2 December 2019.

We want to provide rewarding experiences for all travellers – not just for a few who are members of a club. That’s why we will be discontinuing CPH Advantage on 31 May 2020 to instead focus on creating even more relevant information and offers for all travellers. All members will still be able to use any earned Advantage points from 2 December 2019 until 31 May 2020.

You decide what to do with your points:

  • use them in participating CPH Advantage shops and restaurants (see the shops and restaurants),
  • donate them to charity from 2 December 2019,
  • have the cash value of your points transferred to a Danish bank account from 2 December 2019.


Please note that you must select one of the options by no later than 31 May 2020. If you do not actively choose an option, your points will be donated to charity.

We will send all members an email when we activate the donation/point-payment options on 2 December 2019.

 

Your CPH profile entitles you to a parking discount

Even if we are discontinuing the earning and spending of Advantage points, you will still have a profile with us. You can log in and view your purchase history and personal details. The profile also entitles you to a 20% parking discount in P4 and P12. Just login when you book parking – exactly as you do today.

You will still receive emails that keep you up to date with relevant information on Copenhagen Airport as well as news, offers and competitions from CPH shops and restaurants. If you no longer wish to receive this email from us, you can unsubscribe in the mail. If you have any questions, check out our Q&As below. Otherwise, please feel welcome to contact customer service.

Where can I use my Advantage points?
 

You can use your earned CPH Advantage points as usual. This means in TAX FREE’s online shop and many CPH shops and restaurants. All you have to do is tell the clerk that you wish to pay with your points and then present your membership card in the CPH Airport app. If your points cannot pay the entire amount, you can use your points to pay part of it.

How do I use my Advantage points?
 

Up to 31 May 2020, you can choose to use your points as follows:

  1. In selected shops and restaurants
  2. Donate your points to charity from 2 December
  3. Have the cash value of your points transferred to a Danish bank account from 2 December
Can I order products online and use my points, even if the payment date is later on?
 

Yes, it’s fine to order items online and use your points at the same time,  as long as you pick up your order no later than 31 May 2020. Keep in mind that you must be logged in when ordering products in TAX FREE’s web shop.

Why is it no longer possible to earn points?
 

We can see that only a few of the many CPH Advantage members take the opportunity to earn and use points. At the same time, we want to give all travellers the same offers and opportunities. This is why we want to intensify our focus on creating relevant content for all travellers from now on.

What should I do if I fail to use all my points?
 

If you don’t intend to travel during this period and thus don’t have an opportunity to use the points you earned, you can choose to donate the points to charity instead. You can also choose to have the cash value of your points transferred to your own Danish bank account. To have the payment disbursed, you can fill in an online form from 2 December 2019.

What happens if I don’t decide what should be done with my CPH Advantage points?
 

If you don’t decide what should happen to your points, we reserve the right to pay the value of your points to charity.

Will I still receive email newsletters from CPH?
 

Yes, you will. Even if we are discontinuing CPH Advantage, we will still be sending you news and notices of competitions and special offers by email.

How much are bonus points worth?
 

1,000 bonus points equal DKK 15 (EUR 2).

Where can I register my bonus points later on?
 

Where can I register my bonus points later on? It’s important to tell the clerk that you want to earn or use your bonus points before you pay for a purchase. If a mistake is made, you can register your points later on by submitting a photo of the receipt along with your membership number to: cphadvantage@cph.dk.
We must have received the receipt within three months of the purchase to be able to register the bonus points.

 

What will happen to my profile/data?
 

Although we are discontinuing CPH Advantage on 31 May 2020, you will still be able to log in to your profile. Here you will have access to your personal details, an overview of your purchases, and the option to place an order in TAX FREE’s web shop with Click & Collect. You can also get a 20% discount when you book parking in selected parking facilities.

What benefits are available to me after CPH Advantage stops?
 

After 31 May 2020, the following benefits will still be available:

  • 20% discount on parking bookings at selected parking facilities
  • Coffee upgrade in Lagkagehuset
  • Car rental discount
Why do only selected shops and restaurants participate in CPH Advantage?
 

It is up to the shops and restaurants to decide whether they wish to participate in CPH Advantage.

I have booked parking where I exit the parking facility between 30 November and 31 May. What will happen to my points?
 

All members who have booked parking before or on 30 November 2019 and who exit the facility after 2 December 2019 will be awarded their points in early December. After this, it will not be possible to earn more points from parking. However, you will still be able to use your points in the shops that are members of CPH Advantage. Please note that it may take up to two more weeks before the points are deposited in your account.

I could not use my points in the TAX FREE store due to technical difficulties at check out. What should I do?
 

We regret that it was not possible to use your points in the TAX FREE store. You can choose to have the amount transferred to your Danish bank account instead. To have the payment disbursed, you can fill in an online form from 2 December 2019.
