Copenhagen Airport named third-best airport in the world for business travellers

Business travellers are regular patrons of Copenhagen Airport. A full 42% of the airport’s passengers are business travellers – and, it would seem, satisfied business travellers.

On Thursday evening, the international magazine Business Traveller named Copenhagen Airport as the third-best airport in the world for business travellers. The award was based on a questionnaire survey completed by around 1,300 German readers of the magazine.

According to Copenhagen Airport’s chief operating officer Kristian Durhuus, who collected the award, the airport maintains a continual focus on ensuring efficient operations combined with high-quality passenger services such as lounges and food & beverage outlets.

“We’re delighted with the award as third-best airport in the world for business travellers,” says Kristian Durhuus. “A major reason for this success is undoubtedly Copenhagen Airport’s direct connections to 165 destinations, combined with a very high operating and service level at the airport, as a result of which we’ve repeatedly been named Northern Europe’s best airport.”

“We’re continually working to create the best possible experience for all our passengers, so we’re very proud to receive the award,” continues Kristian Durhuus. “Among other things, business travellers benefit from a highly efficient central security checkpoint that has been named the best in the world. We’re also one of Europe’s most efficient airports, which means that punctuality is very high and flights take off on time. At the same time, we have a wide range of culinary experiences and lounges for passengers.”

The business travellers rated Singapore as the world's best, closely followed by Zurich and Copenhagen.
