Growth continues at Copenhagen Airport
October was yet another month of record growth at Copenhagen Airport. For the first time ever, passenger numbers exceeded the 2 million mark in October, and Copenhagen Airport set a monthly growth record for the fifth consecutive month.
A total of 2,051,658 passengers passed through Copenhagen Airport in October. The rate of increase was 13.4% year on year.
“This is the first time we’ve recorded more than two million passengers per month during five consecutive months. October 2010 is also on the Top 10 list as the eighth busiest month ever in the history of Copenhagen Airport.
Domestic traffic rose by 16.5% year on year, while the number of international passengers rose by 13%. The number of transfer passengers was 11.8% higher than in the same month of last year.
The year-to-date increase in passenger numbers was 8.7%.
