A good start to a journey in CPH’s play areas
A good airport is a child-friendly airport that offers lots of activities for children and teenagers, the airport’s passenger satisfaction surveys show. In addition to the 15 small play areas located in various parts of the airport and the large play area in Terminal 2, Copenhagen Airport has now opened a play area in the domestic terminal with opportunities for playing games, watching Disney Channel and relaxing.
If you are travelling as a family, it is very relaxing for both the children and the adults to spend the waiting time before departure in one of the airport's play areas. A new nice and decorative play area has opened in Terminal 1, bringing the total number of play areas at Copenhagen Airport to 17.

At Terminal 1, young children can spend the waiting time watching Disney Channel. The older children can use the Play Station facilities or sit down to listen to their own MP3, read or relax in the soft Fatboy pillows.
According to Susanne Frank, Passenger Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S, Copenhagen Airport is endeavouring to establish the very facilities demanded by passengers.
“Our passenger surveys show that passengers really appreciate the family areas, so it is important to us to ensure that the play areas |
are accessible, up-to-date and inspiring. In that way we can make sure that both children and adults have a good and relaxing start to their journey,” she added.
