Find a good book for your journey at one of the new news outlets at Copenhagen Airport

 If you are looking for a good detective novel for your flight, a crossword or a magazine, there are several options at the new news outlets at Copenhagen Airport. In October, the airport’s new news retailer, WHSmith as operator and SSP (Select Service Partner) as local manager, took over the five news outlets that will open successively until the beginning of 2009.

On 26 November 2008, WHSmith and SSP officially opened the main store in Pier B. With its 400 square metres of floor space, this is the biggest of the five news outlets at the airport. The new international operator at Copenhagen Airport increases the range of book titles offered to approximately 1,200 Danish titles and 2,500 English titles. Moreover, a wide range of Danish, Scandinavian and international magazines, newspapers - 45 foreign newspapers and 150 UK magazines - are also available at the new outlets.

International, professional operator
The news outlets at Copenhagen Airport each have some 4000 visitors per day, making them clearly the most popular stores at the airport. It was therefore important to the airport’s commercial director to find the very best operator with many years of experience and extensive retail knowledge.

2 out of the 5 news outlets are located before the security checkpoint. The other 3 will be located in Piers A, B and D.

The 5 stores have a total floor space of 700 square metres.

The store in Pier B is the main store and has almost 400 square metres of floor space.
