Passengers will have even more flight options when travelling to the capital of Scotland in future as bmi regional has increased the number of frequencies out of Copenhagen from two to three each weekday.
If you are travelling on business or wish to see the many sights of Scotland, you will have more flights to choose from in future. On 21 July 2008, bmi increases the number of weekday frequencies from two to three.
More choices - greater flexibility
From 21 July, bmi regional flights depart from Copenhagen Airport to Edinburgh at 10:15, 14:25 and 19:40 on weekdays. In addition, the airline has added a second frequency out of Copenhagen at 11:15 on Sundays from 29 June.
“We are delighted that bmi regional has further increased its capacity to Edinburgh. The extra frequencies on weekdays and Sundays give passengers additional options and greater flexibility, which benefits business travellers in particular. In addition, Edinburgh is a very attractive tourist destination with a broad range of museums, theatres and restaurants as well as good shopping,” said Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, Aviation Director, Copenhagen Airports A/S.
Opens for many opportunities
At bmi regional they also see great opportunities for British travellers – both to Denmark and connections to other destinations over the Copenhagen hub.
“By adding further capacity from Edinburgh to Copenhagen, we open up even more choice of connections to international destinations for both business travellers and tourists,” said Peter Kenworthy, Commercial Director, bmi regional.
bmi regional uses Embraer regional jet aircraft seating up to 49 passengers. In total bmi regional now has 31 weekly flights out of Copenhagen Airport to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds. All flights are code shared with SAS.
