Sterling launches flights to Gothenburg

From late March, passengers can fly from Copenhagen Airport to Gothenburg, Sweden on Sterling

On 28 March, Sterling launches flights between Copenhagen and Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. The airline will have two daily frequencies on weekdays and one on Saturdays and Sundays. The flying time will be 45 minutes, and the aircraft to be used will be Boeing 737s.

In connection with the launch of the new destination, Sterling will introduce its new “Connect” service allowing passengers to check their baggage all the way to their final destination.

Good connections to other destinations

“New routes and a well-developed route network are essential if Copenhagen is to maintain its position as Scandinavia's hub. We are therefore very pleased that Sterling now starts up on the Copenhagen-Gothenburg route. Moreover, Sterling’s new Connect service makes it easier for passengers to change flights at Copenhagen Airport, so it may potentially contribute to an increase in the proportion of transfer passengers,” said Brian Petersen, CEO of Copenhagen Airports A/S.

Passengers will have the option of connections on Sterling to Alicante, Athens, Burgas, Chambéry, Florence, Gran Canaria, Màlaga, Mallorca, Nice, Rome and Stockholm.

In addition to Sterling, SAS also has daily flights between Copenhagen and Gothenburg.
