CPH: Low-cost facilities required

Copenhagen Airports A/S was today informed of a project by two former employees planning to construct a terminal targeting low-cost airlines in the airport’s eastern section. The plans are fully consistent with activities already launched by the airport:

"The introduction of low-cost facilities is an excellent idea. In the past six months, we have explored the possibilities of establishing low-cost facilities. For this purpose, we have engaged a consultant specialised in low-cost airlines. Our studies are aimed both at establishing the right facilities for all of our airline customers and for cargo. We have set very ambitious goals for the facilities to meet the low-cost airlines’ requirements for lower costs and efficient passenger facilities. I only heard about the project today, and I will now explore all possibilities of offering the airlines even more attractive solutions," said Brian Petersen, President and CEO of Copenhagen Airports A/S.
