Cimber Air ads new frequencies to Newcastle

Cimber Air ads six new frequencies per week from Copenhagen to Newcastle from the end of March 2008. The additional number of frequencies will give passengers even better travel options to the UK’s best weekend destination.

As from 30 March, Cimber Air increased the number of flights out of Copenhagen Airport to Newcastle by six to reach ten weekly frequencies:

“We opened our Newcastle-Copenhagen service almost a year ago, and there has been a growing demand for an extra daily return service. This means that we now have two daily flights out of both Copenhagen and Newcastle,” said Bjarne Rasmussen, Cimber Air’s Sales and Marketing Manager.

Cimber Air’s service between Newcastle and Copenhagen is the only service between the two cities. There are many business travellers from Denmark and the Newcastle area among the passengers on the route, and many of the passengers from Newcastle connect to other European or overseas flights in Copenhagen.
