New information screens at Copenhagen Airport

Copenhagen Airport is undertaking a modernisation process under which the existing information screens will be replaced by new, modern solutions. New information screens were recently installed in central areas of the airport, and more are on the way.

When you arrive at the airport, one of the first things you would usually do is to take a look at the large information screens in the departure hall to check up on flight departure times and check-in area.

Copenhagen Airport recently installed new, well-designed information screens which are located along the balcony in the departure hall of Terminal 2 and in several other areas in the terminals. The large, blue flat-screen monitors are larger and thus more visible, and the information on them is easier to read.

Part of a major modernisation process

The replacement of the large information screens in Terminal 2 is part of a major modernisation of the many screens and monitors at the airport that provide passenger information on anything from departure and arrival times to check-in area and advice to passengers.

"New modern solutions are developed all the time, and we make every effort to identify up-to-date technical solutions that work well in an airport environment and concurrently enhance our service to passengers," said Susanne Frank, Passenger Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S.

Streamlined interior decoration

"We know from experience that passengers appreciate well-functioning and streamlined interior design,” said Susanne Frank and continued, “Therefore, we have a well defined concept on how the technical installations must match the rest of the signs at the airport so that they complement each other. In this way we get the best solutions, which ensure that passengers perceive the level of information as high when they move through the airport," Frank added.

In the course of the spring, the 57 information screens above the check-in desks will be replaced as part of the plan of modernising the airport’s information monitors.
