Sterling launches two new routes from Copenhagen Airport to Spain
Sterling has published its summer programme which offers a wide range of flights to European destinations, including two new routes out of Copenhagen Airport to Valencia and Murcia, Spain.
Sterling introduced its new summer programme on Thursday, 9 October. The new programme includes a wide range of European destinations. Sterling is adding two new non-stop flights between Copenhagen and Valencia and Murcia, Spain to its list of routes for the summer of 2008.
Spanish delights
“We are pleased to introduce two new routes out of Copenhagen to Spain, which is a popular destination with Scandinavian tourists. Valencia and Murcia in Spain have many hours of sunshine, good food and many cultural sights. They are interesting destinations for families who want to visit some of the Spanish delights, said Michael T. Hansen, Commercial Director, Sterling Airlines A/S.
Spanish destinations are already popular with Danish tourists. Traffic to Spain grew by 10.8% from May to September 2007. The growth was partly driven by Air Berlin’s route to Mallorca, which opened in late March 2007.
Including the two new routes to the east coast of Spain, there are now non-stop flights out of Copenhagen Airport to nine airports in Spain.
