New police shop for passengers at the heart of Copenhagen Airport
On 17 December, the police will move into new, attractive premises at Copenhagen Airport that are centrally located between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. In future, it will be easy for passengers at Copenhagen Airport to contact the authorities at any time of the day or night.
“The new shop was designed in a close collaboration with the police: together we have created new, modern facilities with a central location to provide passengers with faster and better service,” said Kristian Slaarup Kongstad, director of real estate at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
The police shop is easy to find. Located in the Arcade, between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, it has the easily recognisable traditional police logo on the door. Inside, the facility has a modern, airy and light atmosphere, with a contrasting black counter.
Open daily 6.45 am – 10 pm
The police shop can in special cases provide passengers with an emergency passport outside the normal opening hours of the Borgerservice ('Citizens’ Service') offices operated by the local authorities. In addition, the airport police handle tasks such as reports of theft and lost property.
The shop opens on 17 December at 1.00 pm and will then be open all days of the week between 6.45 am and 10.00 pm. Outside these hours, a police duty officer can be contacted through a paging system at the entrance to the store.
