New direct service to Zagreb

From mid-May next year, passengers at Copenhagen Airport can fly non-stop to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

From May next year, Croatia Airlines will operate a scheduled service between Zagreb and Copenhagen using Airbus 319s. There will be three weekly frequencies (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) and the flying time will be approximately two hours.

“We look forward to offering our customers a direct service to

Copenhagen. The opening of a new route is always a special event, and we are very pleased to welcome passengers to this new, direct route between Zagreb and Copenhagen with connections to Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Pula, Sarajevo and Skopje,” said Jasmin Bajic, Network Management Director of Croatia Airlines.

A popular holiday destination

“We have seen an increase in traffic to Croatia via other destinations, and we are therefore very pleased that Croatia Airlines has decided to open a direct service between Copenhagen and Zagreb. Croatia is a popular holiday destination, and with its easy access to the sea and beautiful scenery, it caters to a broad group of travellers, said Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, Vice President, Copenhagen Airports A/S.

Croatia Airlines is a regional member of the Star Alliance.

Croatia has about 80,000 Danish tourists per year. This Central European country is located on the Adriatic Sea and is slightly larger than Denmark, but with a smaller population (4.4 million).
