Countdown to the opening of the new central security checkpoint
On Friday, 1 June, the ribbon will be cut for the new security checkpoint which will make it faster and more convenient for passengers to get from the check-in areas through security screening.
The builders have been putting the finishing touches on the new central security checkpoint in the past few days. The new facility will have 16 screening points, which doubles the current capacity.
At a cost of DKK 200 million, construction of the new central checkpoint is yet another investment in a series of many investments made in recent years to comply with stricter regulatory requirements to security.
