Peak days at Copenhagen Airport
More passengers than ever before are using Copenhagen Airport this summer for holiday travel by air. Therefore, the airport is very busy and waiting times at check in and security check may be longer than normal.
Wednesday, 14 June, is one of the peak days, and Copenhagen Airport and the airlines SAS and Sterling have decided to organise extra events on this day. Passengers will be met with entertainment and funny surprises at the airport to give them the opportunity for some fun and games in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.
Moreover, the airport and the two airlines urge passengers to follow some good advice to ensure that their time spent at the airport passes as quickly and easily as possible in spite of the crowds.
“Even though the airport and the airlines have prepared as much as they can for the peak days, we know from experience that it takes longer to get through the airport on a peak day. Therefore, we urge passengers to be prepared and follow some simple advice that can lighten the start of their trip,” said Susanne Frank, Passenger Manager at Copenhagen Airports.
