FineFood in new packing

It is the oldest shop at Copenhagen Airport, and now it is also the newest. Last year, FineFood celebrated its 50th anniversary at Copenhagen Airport, and on Monday 22 May 2006, the shop opened in new premises in Terminal 2 in the area formerly taken up by the Take Off Bar.

With this change, the existing two FineFood shops have been merged into one large shop in Terminal 2 with new in-store design and a number of new products on the shelves, including a wide range of to-go products and exclusive specialties and gift packages from French company Hediard.

Taste the cheese

For years, FineFood offered samples of its cheeses and cut up cheeses in the pieces customers wanted, as is done in a traditional Danish cheese shop. However, a couple of years ago this service was discontinued due to lack of space, but it has now been resumed in the new shop.

"We sell a lot of Danish cheese to almost all nationalities, so we are pleased that we will again be able to offer our customers samples to taste before they make their choice," said Helge Reisfelt, the manager of the shop for the past 20 years.

"In addition to cheese, some of the most popular products at FineFood are sausages, salami, ham, cake and salmon. Nordic customers mainly buy meat, whereas both Southern Europeans and Asians like our seafood products in particular," Reisfelt commented.
