Emirates to open new route to Dubai

There will be even more travel options from Copenhagen to Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Middle East from next autumn when Emirates opens a new route from Copenhagen Airport to Dubai, from where there are connections to 77 destinations in 54 countries.
From 1 October 2006, Emirates will operate four return flights per week, but already a month later – from 29 October 2006 – the airline will operate daily return flights between Copenhagen and Dubai.
Emirates will be using Airbus 330-200 aircraft seating 278 passengers on the new route. The flights will depart from Copenhagen mid afternoon and arrive at Dubai just over six hours later. Return flights will leave Dubai in the morning and arrive at Copenhagen early in the afternoon after seven hours’ flying time.
“We are very pleased to welcome yet another overseas route out of Copenhagen. The new Emirates service will offer passengers easy and comfortable connections to a large number of destinations – most of them with just a single flight change at Dubai. Emirates has one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world and is highly reputed for its very high service level,” comments Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, Department Manager, Copenhagen Airports A/S.
