Colleagues rate Copenhagen Airport best in Europe

A jury of experts set up by the ACI, a European association of airports, has rated Copenhagen Airport the best and most well-functioning airport in Europe.

In its motivation for the award, the jury stated that CPH is focused on passenger facilities and passenger service and has attractive terminals with good shopping. The jury is composed of representatives of airport managers, travel journalists, consultants and spokespersons for the disabled.

The award was presented to Niels Boserup, President & CEO of Copenhagen Airports at the ACI general meeting held recently in Athens, Greece. Earlier this year, Copenhagen Airport was rated best airport in Europe for the fifth consecutive year in the large international AETRA survey of passengers worldwide.

“The passengers’ judgement is what matters the most, but it is also nice to receive recognition from industry professionals,” commented Boserup. “Our efforts to improve conditions for passengers with mobility impairments will be continued. In a year or so, we expect to have a central function to assist these passengers on behalf of all the airlines.”
