Take away a lobster

Most people are familiar with the concept of ‘coffee to go’. But who has heard of ’lobster to go’ – half a lobster with all the trimmings, even champagne, ready to take away?

In addition, a number of restaurants, cafés and bars at Copenhagen Airport currently have special ’to go’ offers.

At the Seafood Bar in Terminal 2, for example, you can buy half a lobster with bread, salad and lemon in a handy plastic tray, complete with wooden cutlery and wetwipes.   A small bottle of Piper-Heidsieck champagne adds a sophisticated touch to the meal. The total price for the ‘lobster to go’ pack is DKK 199.

Since in-flight meal service can no longer be taken for granted, Copenhagen Airport breaks new ground by offering passengers additional options in terms of buying food and beverages to bring along on flights or enjoy at the airport.

There will be focus on the ’to go’ concept at the airport this spring and summer. A special To:Go bar will offer drinks, sandwiches and snacks that are easy to take away. The To:Go bar is located in the square opposite the large duty-free store in Terminal 2, and the bar staff have been specially trained to ensure speedy service.
