Europe’s best airport – for the third consecutive year
The readers of Business Traveller, Germany’s leading magazine for business travellers, have rated Copenhagen Airport the best airport in Europe for the third consecutive year. The airport at Zurich was rated number two and Munich number three. The award was presented in Frankfurt on Tuesday, 18 January 2005.
The Business Traveller magazine targets frequent flyers and has existed since 1976. It is published four times a year in Germany with a circulation of 210,000 and is also published in the United States, United Kingdom, Middle East and China.
3,000 readers filled in a questionnaire inserted in the September/October issue of Business Traveller in Germany. Among the items in the questionnaire, readers were asked to rate the best airport, best airlines and best hotels, and to answer questions about their travel habits. The questionnaires were subsequently analysed by an independent institute.
In the other airport categories, Singapore was rated the best overseas airport and the best airport in the world, whilst the airport at Nuremberg was rated the best airport in Germany.
