Travelling to Copenhagen or just passing through?
Under EU requirements, all passengers arriving from countries outside the EU must pass through a security checkpoint upon arrival to Copenhagen Airport. Effective 8 June 2004, following a renovation of Pier C, passengers terminating their journey at Copenhagen will no longer have to pass through a security checkpoint.
If you disembark at Pier C, please be aware that you may or may not have to go through the security checkpoint, depending on your final destination. If your journey terminates at Copenhagen, you may proceed direct to Customs without going through security, but if you are in transit, you must pass through the security checkpoint.
Passengers disembarking at Pier C are requested to pay special attention to the signs. Over the next few weeks, we will also have extra service staff on duty to assist and guide passengers.
