Additional routes from Copenhagen to Poland

From 28 March, SAS will re-introduce its service from Copenhagen to Krakow. The service will be operated using Dash 8 aircraft. In addition, frequencies will be increased to Gdansk and Warsaw to four daily departures.

Trille Tang Dalsgaard, Copenhagen Airports’ head of Airline Relations, comments that the new frequencies will make more Poles choose Copenhagen Airport as a transfer airport for trips to the United States.

“In 2002, 11% of passengers on the direct services from Copenhagen to the United States started their journey in Poland. In addition to Sweden, Norway and Germany, the Polish market is an important feeder market for the US services out of Copenhagen. Therefore, we are very glad to see that SAS is increasing its routes and frequencies to Poland. This also gives the Poles an opportunity to use the wide range of other overseas services out of Copenhagen Airport.”
