Lifestyle at the airport
In London, the United States and Japan it has long been popular to buy a breath of fresh air. Now the first oxygen bar in Denmark has opened in Copenhagen Airport. Throughout March you can drop in at the bar to inhale oxygen-enriched air with the flavour of your choice. Allegedly the oxygen-enriched air will remove headaches and boost your energy. A juice bar offers fruit juice brewed from fresh fruit full of natural vitamins.
The two bars are part of the Life & Style exhibition staged in Copenhagen Airport in March. The men behind the concept are Uffe Buchard and Kim Grenaa who believe that fashion is more than just clothes and accessories.
Fashion is all the things that surround us in our everyday life. This is very evident in the futuristic universe of Style Counsel (Uffe Buchard’s and Kim Grenaa’s company), which is characterised by yellow colours, transparent cylinders with dress forms hanging from the ceiling and gigantic black/white photos of urban landscapes. The latest issues of lifestyle magazines are available in the ‘rest areas’, and the exhibition generally caters to all tastes.
The exhibition is one in the sequence of annual events and exhibitions in Copenhagen Airport focusing on fashion and lifestyle. It can be seen in the terminal area on 1-31 March. Only airline passengers have access to this area.
