Record-high passenger numbers

With a total of more than 1.9 million passengers arriving at and departing from Copenhagen Airport, June 2004 was a record month. Thursday, 17 June, will probably go down as the busiest day of the year this year, with a total of 72,000 passengers. A normal day will see about 50,000 passengers.

In 2001 and 2002, the highest number of passengers in a single day was 68,000; last year, the highest number dropped to 66,500, but the record for CPH so far this year is 72,000 passengers in one day.
