First low cost service from Scandinavia to Kent

On 1 September 2004, Irish low cost carrier EUjet will open a route from Copenhagen Airport to Kent International Airport east of London.

The airline will use a Fokker 100 seating about 100 passengers on the route. Flights will depart from Copenhagen Monday to Friday 6.00 pm with arrival in Kent at 18.45 pm local time.

"Kent is a destination offering direct access to The White Cliffs of Dover as well as to the area east of London. We look forward to working with EUjet; not least because it is going to benefit the entire Copenhagen metropolitan area,” says Ole Wieth Christensen, who is responsible for the development of low cost routes at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
