Business travellers rate Copenhagen Airport best in Europe

For the second consecutive year, readers of German magazine Business Travellers rated Copenhagen Airport the best airport in Europe. This prestigious award was given to the airport on the basis of responses received mainly from business travellers.

“We are very proud – especially because so many business travellers voted for us. Businesspeople usually demand higher standards than leisure travellers,” says Passenger Manager Susanne Frank, adding that business passengers typically want greater comfort and flexibility.

Ms Frank recently returned from Frankfurt, where she received the award on behalf of Copenhagen Airport. The award presentation took place yesterday, Wednesday, 14 January, at the Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel.

“Before presenting the award for ‘Best European Airport’, Marc Tügel said that there was no doubt who was the winner of this category. I was proud when I heard that,” says Frank, who, immediately after hearing these words of praise, was presented with the award by Business Traveller Chief Editor Tügel and two other representatives from the magazine.

The airport rated the world’s best was Singapore Changi Airport, and Bremen airport received the best local rating, i.e. as the best airport in Germany.
