Travelling this weekend?
Don't forget your money, passport and tickets. But remember, too, that on Sunday, 18 July, there will be a record-high number of passengers at Copenhagen Airport. We are expecting about 70,000 passengers on that day, which is a few more than our normal summer-season daily number of 50,000.
It's going to be a busy day, but we will do our very best to give you the best possible start to your holiday.
So that's why it's important to:
-
Get to the airport early, but not too early. Two hours ahead of time is fine; three hours is too early. Your travel agency and airline set check-in times and counter opening hours, but you won't be able to check in earlier than two hours before your flight. However, if you are in doubt about how early you should be there, contact your travel agency or airline.
-
Don't despair! Copenhagen Airport security personnel are currently working overtime to keep queuing at a minimum, and even if the queue looks long, remember that 90 per cent of passengers make it through the security checkpoint in a very short time.
-
Will you make your flight? Very rarely do passengers miss their flight. If you are worried that this may happen, we have extra staff available able and willing to help.
Bon voyage!
