Widerøe increases Copenhagen – Trondheim service from two to three daily return flights
As of 1 April 2003, Widerøe will expand the Copenhagen – Trondheim service from two to three daily return flights, giving Norwegians even better connections from Trondheim to a wide range of destinations via Copenhagen.
At the end of October 2002, Widerøe took over the Trondheim – Copenhagen service from SAS which served the route with one daily return flight.
When taking over the service, Widerøe introduced two daily return flights operated by a Dash 8-400 aircraft, which carries up to 70 passengers. The third return flight from Trondheim will be at mid-day, complementing the existing morning and evening departures.
Widerøe’s success on the Copenhagen – Trondheim route is reflected by the some 20% increase in passengers on the route during the first two months of 2003 relative to the same period of 2002.
