Yet another Low Cost Airline in CPH - New Route to Germany

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is happy to announce that the new low cost airline, V-Bird, has decided to connect Copenhagen and Niederrhein in Germany with 19 weekly flights starting December 10, 2003.

Trille Tang Dalsgaard, Head of Airline Relations in CPH, says:

“Our research and analysis has indicated that a huge potential exist for low cost airlines between Copenhagen and Germany. More and more low cost airlines become aware of the rapid development taking place in the Øresund region where two countries come together. Copenhagen Airport is the perfect option for airlines – low cost as well as regular – to enter the Danish and South Swedish market.”

V-Bird   

The route will be operated with a convenient Airbus 320-200 seating 162 passengers. On weekdays, there will be three daily flights as well as two daily flights during the weekend.

 

Niederrhein is located close the Dutch border near Düsseldorf.  


In Niederrhein V-Bird offers connecting flights to Munich.
