New Danish route to Kaliningrad

On Sunday September 7th 2003 Danish Air Transport (DAT) will be starting a new route between Copenhagen and Kaliningrad. DAT is just the second Danish airline in history to operate scheduled service to Russia.

The new scheduled service will be operating 4 times a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be operated by the new and modern Beech 1900D aircraft with a seat capacity of 18 passengers. On Sundays the route will be operated by a larger size aircraft – the ATR42 – with a seat capacity of 42 passengers.


DAT will be operating this scheduled service in code-share cooperation with the Russian airline Pulkovo, which has 2 offices in Copenhagen. Tickets can be booked online on http://www.dat.dk/ and with all the travel agencies. Schedules can also be found on DAT’s homepage.

In connection with this new service to Kaliningrad, DAT are working on several package deals to the Baltic Area, which amongst other things include a visit to St. Petersburg.
