New Danish service between Roskilde and Aalborg

A new service between Roskilde Airport and Aalborg Airport is going to open on Monday, 4 March 2002. The airline behind the new service is Scan Con Airways. There will be two morning departures and two late afternoon departures on weekdays, and the flying time will be 45 minutes.

 

Jørgen Guldager, Airport Manager at Roskilde Airport says about the new service:

"We are happy to be able to introduce this new service to Aalborg. Business people on Zealand and in Northern Jutland have long demanded such a direct service between the two airports. Moreover, we consider the service a proof of the growing airlines interest in Roskilde Airport."

Free city car for the day

The aircraft to be used on the service will be SAAB 340 seating 33 passengers and Shorts seating 30 passengers.

 

For passengers flying from Aalborg to Roskilde, Scan Con will provide a city car from Smart for one day. The car will only be launched on 13 March but will be available already when the

service opens.
