New services provide easy and quick information

Copenhagen Airport now offers two new ways to make it easier to plan trips and stay informed of arrivals and departures.

Copenhagen Airport’s new SMS service allows people to make the most of their time while staying informed of departure and arrival times without having to check the times on the centrally located arrival and departure boards.

By registering for the SMS service, travellers can have a message sent to their mobile phone announcing gate or arrival time changes, delays, time of arrival of flights and baggage, or when it is time to go to the gate or board the aircraft. The service is available for all types of mobile phone subscriptions. It costs DKK 10 to register for the service irrespective of the number of messages sent to the phone, and the amount is charged via the phone bill.

The Web site also offers help for travel planning. When given the desired destination and possibly the preferred airline and travel date/time, the system will show a list of flights that can bring the passenger to the desired destination at the time indicated.

The Travel Planner service, which is free of charge, is available under the menu item "Flight Timetables".
