King Frederick attended opening ceremony

The roof-tree for the new main building, the largest building project in Denmark at that time, was put up on 21 January 1959. The building was inaugurated by King Frederick IX in May 1960.

 

In addition to a departure hall and transit area, the terminal also houses technical and office facilities.
