IF Prize


Description:
The Danish company Knud Holscher Industrial Design received the German IF-prize for its 'd line' range. The range can be seen at Copenhagen Airport, The Black Diamond (new wing of the Royal Library in Copenhagen) and the Danish National Gallery. The German IF-prize corresponds to Denmark’s ID-prize, but far exceeds the Danish design prize in recognition. The prize was presented on 13 March at CeBIT in Hannover.

The Brunel prize. First prize in the category 'Furnishing of larger stations' for the use of the Metropol bench range


Description:
The bench range was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen A/S firm of architects and was initially applied at the Copenhagen Airport railway station. In 2001, the prize was awarded by the l’Ácadémie d’Árchitecture of France and SNCF the French state railway.
