Peak departure days and events

On certain days during the summer season, the number of passengers at the airport will be particularly large. This may be due to large numbers of passengers departing on holiday trips, cruise ships arriving at Copenhagen, conferences, festivals or other events.

In the calendar, you can see the dates of the peak departure days. In this way you will know when it is particularly important to be well prepared before you go to the airport.

On the peak cruise dates, passengers transfer from their cruise boats at the Port of Copenhagen for their flights out of Copenhagen Airport. These passengers check in in a separate area of the airport. Still, passengers will notice the extra pressure, among other things at the security checkpoint.
