Where can I buy a plastic bag for my liquids?

The Danish authorities specify that the bag to be used for liquids in your carry-on-baggage must be a ‘transparent, re-sealable bag with a maximum capacity of one litre’. The closing mechanism must be an integral part of the bag.

You are allowed to carry one such bag through security at Copenhagen Airport. As an example of bags that can be used for the purpose, the authorities mention re-sealable “freezer bags” available from many major supermarkets.

We recommend that you get hold of a bag that meets the requirements set by the authorities – and pack your liquid containers in the bag at home before you go to the airport.

CPH will hand out free plastic bags to passengers who did not pack correctly at home as long as we have them in stock.

When our stock runs out, you can buy bags in the 7 Eleven store and at CPH’s left luggage facility in the passage between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 as well as in the Global News and Books store in Terminal 3.
