Booking
Can I book a specific parking space?
No. You can only book an unspecified parking space in a specific car park. When you enter the car park you choose from the vacant spaces.
The CPH Parking Service Office guarantees that there will be a parking space available when you arrive.
Why can’t I see all the different car parks on the screen when I make my booking?
Only the car parks that still have spaces available for the time you wish to park will be shown. If a particular car park does not appear on the screen, it is because there are no spaces available at the time you have selected.
Can I cancel or change a booking?
- Yes, you can either change or cancel your booking.
- If you cancel a booking up to 48 hours before your reserved time, we will refund the full amount
- If you cancel a booking later than 48 hours before your reserved time, we will refund the full amount except an administrative fee of DKK 50
- If you do not cancel your reservation and do not use the booked parking space, there will be no refund.
- When you make a new booking, there is no guarantee that there will be a space available in the car park you wish to use.
Payment and cards
Is it safe to enter my credit card information when I am booking a parking space?
Yes, it is safe. The CPH Parking Service Office has partnered with a recognised supplier of transaction security (Thawte).
Why do I have to use my credit card?
Your credit card functions both as a means of payment and a ticket. Your card is “recognised” when you use it to enter the car park where you have booked a parking space. That is why it is important that you use the same card to access the car park as the one you used when you made your booking.
If you lose your credit card after you have used it to book a parking space, we can use your name and the time and date for your arrival and departure to find your booking.
Will I receive confirmation of my booking?
Yes. Immediately after your booking goes through, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail you specified. We recommend that you print it out and take it with you to the airport, because it contains all the information you may need later.
Can I use the same credit card for more than one booking?
Yes, as long as the bookings do not apply to the same period.
If you need to make a booking for more than one car during the same period, you need to use a different credit card for each booking.
Parking
What if I arrive earlier or later than planned?
You can arrive up to six hours before and six hours after the time you specified as the starting time of your booking. In other words, if you book a parking space from 12 noon you can enter that car park at any time between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
If you use your parking space earlier than booked, the time of exit will be shortened correspondingly.
For example: If you have booked a parking space for 72 hours and enter the car park at 9.00 a.m. on day one, the time of exit will be on day four at 9.00 a.m. even though the booking was made for 12.00 noon.
What if I come home later than planned?
If you need to park for a longer period of time than you made a booking for, we will simply charge you for the extra time when you leave the car park.
What if I have pre-booked a parking space, but the sign above the car park shows ‘fully booked’ when I arrive to the car park?
It doesn’t matter. You can still enter the car park because you have pre-booked a parking space. The ‘fully booked’ sign above the car park only applies to customers who have not made a pre-booking.
Who is responsible for my vehicle while it is parked?
CPH Parkering A/S accepts no liability in connection with any accidents, theft, personal injury, damage to vehicles, equipment or items left in the vehicle. Please check procedures in the event of any loss or damage with your insurance company.
