Special extended transfer collaboration between Copenhagen Airports A/S and SAS
Copenhagen Airports A/S and SAS have a special extended transfer collaboration starting January 2010.
This collaboration focuses on creating a better travel experience for passengers and on improving stopovers at Copenhagen Airport. As part of this collaboration, it is now possible to transfer with only 30 minutes between your arriving and departing flights, against the previous minimum connection time of 45 minutes.
This means that a large number of additional connections will be available, and you will experience an even more efficient transfer product at Copenhagen Airport.
As a transfer passenger at Copenhagen Airport you will be met by a screen with dedicated transfer information at the gate you arrive at. The screens show the first coming eight connections of the passengers onboard the arriving plane. In addition to the gate information the screens also indicate how many minutes it takes to walk to the specific gate. The screens make the orientation easier and the way finding faster and more efficient.
All gates are equipped with screens which are placed as the first thing you see when you enter the gate from the aircraft.
In addition, a special baggage process has been implemented for passengers with short connections at Copenhagen Airport intended to help ensure that your bags are also transferred to your next flight.
