Baggage for transfer passengers

If you have booked a trip that includes one or more flight changes, you and your bags will normally be checked through to your final destination, which means it will not be necessary for you to pick up your baggage and check it again.

If, for instance, you purchased separate tickets for the different legs of your flight, you and your bags may not be checked through to your final destination. If this is the case, you will have to pick up your baggage and check it in for your next flight in the terminal. You should allow plenty of time for this, as you will have to pick up your bags in the baggage reclaim area, check them in again and then go through security before you can take your next flight.

You should ask the staff when you buy your ticket or at check-in if you are in doubt.
