More flights to Vienna

From May, Austrian airline NIKI increases the number of frequencies on the Copenhagen-Vienna service.

From 2 May, Austrian NIKI will double its daily frequencies to and from Vienna.  With a morning and an evening flight replacing the existing afternoon flight, access to the Austrian capital is greatly improved for the benefit of both business and leisure travellers.

”A gap had appeared in the market as another airline withdrew from the Vienna route, and with twice-daily flights on weekdays and one on Sundays, access to and from Austria is substantially improved. With a morning flight and an evening flight, the schedule is perfect for business travellers, allowing them to travel to Vienna and return on the same day, explained Ole Wieth Christensen, Director of Airline Sales & Route Development at Copenhagen Airport.

NIKI is partially owned by Airberlin, and the two airlines collaborate closely. Travellers can thus book tickets to the two airlines’ many European – and Airberlin’s overseas – destinations directly with NIKI.
