Three new summer routes by transavia.com

Low-cost carrier transavia.com is opening three new routes from Copenhagen to Italian holiday destinations

There is good news to people who love the beach, small towns full of culture, home-made pasta and espresso in the sun: transavia.com is going to open three new routes from Copenhagen to Italy. The expansion of transavia.com’s route network gives Danish leisure travellers an opportunity to spend their summer holidays in Venice, Alghero (Sardinia) or Palermo (Sicily).

“We are pleased to be able to offer more people in Denmark the opportunity to enjoy sunny, charming Italy during their summer holidays. With our new services to Venice, Sardinia and Sicily, we will have a strong coverage of Italy during the peak season,” said Norbert Zoet, VP of transavia.com, continuing:

“Our good collaboration with tour operators Scanways and Suntours allows us to expand our peak-season capacity. And with out hybrid model of group bookings combined with individual ticket sales, the expansion of our route network will benefit both out business partners and passengers travelling on an individual basis. We expect that the opening of the three new routes will increase our ticket sales substantially this coming summer,” said Zoet.
