SAS expands its service to Aalesund
SAS adds an extra frequency between Copenhagen and Aalesund, Norway. This will increase passengers’ opportunities for onward connections out of Copenhagen Airport.
SAS’s direct service between Copenhagen and Aalesund on the west coast of Norway is very successful, and the airline now doubles the number of frequencies on the service from one to two daily flights.
“We can now offer our business customers to Aalesund a substantially improved product, and our holiday and leisure passengers will have much greater opportunities of enjoying this beautiful city and the scenery around it," said Per Møller Jensen, Marketing and Sales Director of SAS in Denmark.
Early arrival in Copenhagen
SAS adds a late flight out of Copenhagen at 9.00 pm arriving in Aalesund at 10.35 pm and an early flight out of Aalesund at 6.00 am arriving in Copenhagen at 7.35 am. The new flights will be available for bookings from Monday, 24 August on www.sas.dk/en
“The additional daily frequency to Aalesund increases the opportunities of Norwegian travellers – not least business travellers – who travel on the many onward flights out of Copenhagen to destinations in and outside Europe. This will strengthen SAS’s transfer traffic and, thus, Copenhagen Airport’s strategy of continuing to be the leading Northern European air transport hub,” said Carsten Nørland, VP, Aviation, Copenhagen Airports.
