Cimber Sterling expands at Copenhagen Airport
Cimber Sterling, one of the biggest airlines at Copenhagen Airport, adds a number of new routes and frequencies to its Southern Europe programme.
Cimber Sterling continues its expansion at Copenhagen Airport, and from the end of May, the airline offers travellers a number of new routes and frequencies to typical holiday destinations. The airline states that it is expanding due to good ticket sales on its existing routes and frequencies.'
“Cimber Sterling has got a good foothold on the Danish market with the many new routes the airline has opened since the turn of the year, and we collaborate with them on a continuous basis to strengthen their position at Copenhagen Airport. Most recently, Cimber Sterling has started using our check-in kiosks, which makes it easier for passengers to get through the airport, and we are moving the airline to Terminal 2, where conditions are better for them after their significant expansion,” said Carsten Nørland, VP, Aviation, Copenhagen Airports.
New destinations
Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Madeira are new routes to be operated by Cimber Sterling from 28 August, and during the summer the airline will also add additional frequencies to its existing routes, among them to Alicante, Malaga, Athens and Burgas. Cimber Sterling uses its Boeing 737-700 aircraft seating 148 passengers on the routes and frequencies mentioned above.
