New Sterling services include a world premiere at Copenhagen Airport
Sterling’s new routes include a world premiere as the new service between Copenhagen and Madeira is the first ever non-stop service on the route.
Sterling has just released its winter schedule, which includes two new destinations out of Copenhagen: Brussels and Madeira.
Madeira will thus be among the more than 140 destinations served by direct flights out of Copenhagen for the first time ever. Sterling will operate a return flight to Madeira every Monday.
Brussels, the other new destination in Sterling’s winter schedule, is the ninth largest destination out of Copenhagen Airport with more than 200,000 departing passengers per year. Sterling will operate the service every day of the week except on Saturdays.
“Copenhagen Airport is Sterling’s primary base. We are very pleased that Sterling now expands its activities and thus strengthens its position as the second-largest airline at Copenhagen Airport,” said Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, head of Airline Relations at Copenhagen Airports.
