CPH aims marketing at southern Sweden

Copenhagen Airport is currently running a campaign to attract even more Swedish passengers.

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is the preferred airport for people living in southern Sweden, with the number of locally departing Swedes increasing every year. In 2005, more than one million passengers came across the Øresund bridge to check in at CPH. This year, even more travellers from southern Sweden are expected to make use of the short distance to Scandinavia’s largest airport.

In an effort to attract even more Swedish passengers, CPH recently launched an extensive marketing campaign in southern Sweden. The campaign focuses on a large number of inexpensive tickets for flights departing from CPH that passengers can find at a website aimed at Swedish travellers: http://www.kastrup.nu/. The website features low-price tickets offered by various airlines to more than 65 destinations in Europe.

“Many travellers in southern Sweden already use http://www.kastrup.nu/, and we hope that our campaign will make even more people aware of the many opportunities they have to travel inexpensively from CPH,” says Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, head of Airline Relations at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
